Who We Are

Welcome to our church community, where spiritual growth and meaningful connections flourish. Experience insightful worship, vibrant fellowship, and opportunities to engage with compassionate service.

We are Christians, from various backgrounds, who gather together as a local non-denominational church. We have people who attend from Red Deer, Lacombe, Clive, and the local area. We seek to grow in knowing God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit more, and out of that relationship to live a life that witnesses to and reflects who He is and His heart purposes for mankind within our daily lives.

We seek to play our part as one local church within the greater universal body of Christ. An expression of that, is our support of ministries outside of our congregation and relationships with other local churches in the area.

Our History

The Haynes Community Church was established under that name in January 1, 1990. The history of the congregation, however, dates back to 1915.

Timeline

  • 1915 - Congregation founded as a community church
  • Early 1900s - Joined the Methodist Church
  • 1925 - Became part of the United Church
  • 1990 - Returned to roots as Haynes Community Church

Over a century of faith, fellowship, and service to our community
